Anastasia Beverly Hills, Contour cream kit review // MostlyMilly

I'm incredibly lucky to be able to review the Anastasia Contour Cream Kit . My friend Kasia's incredibly cool mum bought her the light and medium kit as she wasn't sure what colour would be best for her. Kasia chose the light kit and I was lucky enough to be able to purchase the medium which I am completely in love with. This post will just be a general review as I've only had it for a few days but I shall do a more elaborate step by step post and tutorial later :)

The medium kit includes the 6 colours Banana, Cream, Warm Coral, Nude, Cinnamon and Chocolate. The colour difference between the light kit and this one is minor however if you're incredibly pale opt for waiting for the even lighter palette they're bringing out soon. The palette is $40 and you can get it from the Anastasia Beverly Hills website here x

The colours are on the warm side so it takes a little time to get used to and to make sure you don't appear orange, however once you've had a bit of practice you can easily work out which shades are best for you.

I've seen some reviews on this product that claim they don't blend as easily as they would have liked or imagined but for me I'm extremely impressed and happy with the blend ability. The texture is very creamy but not too sticky however I do feel I need powder afterwards to really set it all in place.

The pigmentation of these colours is amazing and they come out very rich and creamy.

( From left to right: Banana, Cream, Warm Coral, Nude, Cinnamon, Chocolate )

All in all I am extremely excited and happy about this product and will definitely do you a more in depth tutorial on how I use it soon ;)
Thank you for reading x

We're a great team but really she's the one doing all the work, I just sit and look into the camera. Before I include the photos make sure you check out and like her photography page on Facebook :)

Night time skin care routine // MostlyMilly

I haven't always been the best with looking after my skin but right now I have a skin care routine that really works for me and now my skin is better than ever. This is quite an extensive night time routine but there's nothing I hate more than going to bed with makeup on and waking up with sticky eyelashes.

1. First I use one make-up wipe to remove my foundation and face makeup, then use a second to remove my eye makeup.
2. I use my Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and some cotton wool pads to properly remove the remainders of my makeup.
3. I then wash my face with my La prairie foam cleanser with warm water.
4. Lastly I moisturize using Boots derma care daily moisturizing cream and keep my lips chap free with an EOS lip balm.

My skin is pretty average so I think this routine would work for pretty much anyone. I'd definitely recommend it to people suffering from dry skin as I wake up feeling refreshed and moisturized.

Thank you for reading lovelies :)

What's always in my bag // MostlyMilly

I have a thing about carrying around my entire life in my bag. It usually weighs around a stone and I'm surprised I don't have massive arm muscles or substantial back problems. Things in my bag change all the time but these are a few of the permanent items I carry around constantly.

My bag is from H&M but it switches to my black Zara bag whenever the colour doesn't match my outfit.

In order of importance:
-iphone
-earphones ( always tangled )
- purse ( always empty )
- phone charger
- makeup bag ( or just my favourite lipstick, lipliner and eyelash glue)
-perfume
- bottle of water
- sunglasses
-diary
- current book
-kindle

Thank you for reading :)

Ripped Jeans yes or no? // MostlyMilly

Sorry I have been so off the radar recently. I'm just getting on my new medication and as a result of this, have lost over a stone. Due to this DREADFUL side effect I've had to purchase a size 8 pair of jeans because everything I own was falling off of me. I didn't have a pair of ripped jeans and neither did I particularly want any. I seem to remember deciding I hated them a month ago yet now I seem to be wearing them. However, I now can't decide whether I like them or not.

They are black, obviously and I think they might look better in the summer. The rips aren't massively noticeable however I can't decide whether they look subtle or like I've literally fallen and grazed my knees.

So ripped jeans, yes or no? x
